so a vintage boss Dm-2 made it's way into my possession, and initially, it sounded killer on guitar and absolutely anemic on bass.
one day i dropped it down the stairs while juggling a handful of pedals. Now the Dm2 sounds absolutly killer on bass, but there are definate differences. repeat rate seems to start at a higher interval, and the higher repeat registers are inaudible due to their speed. (this is normal for the DM-2, but the "inaudably fast zone" seems in general larger.
Echo, which had been thin and metallic, is now behaving more the way i expected it too. intensity is also markedly different, but it's hard to describe the change. it seems to enter- self oscillation helicopter mode when the intensity is anywhere near 3 o-clock
just wondering if anyone has had previous similar experiance, or if anyone could explain what may have happened.
i do not recommend droping vintage pedals, but this one seems- Improved for bass-
