BOSS GT6b wah tone settings

I have just purchased a used BOSS GT6B multi effects pedal board. I have dialed in and tweeked the ("sweet & warm") factory preset and wrote and saved it as my go to patch.I tweaked and tailored the chorus, reverb, distortion, and compression settings and also added a nice beefy low end EQ setting like the (old SVT)style tone.It sounds great!! But, where my problem starts is when I trigger the (Bass Wah) setting on.Once the wah pedal is engaged, my tone completley changes to a very thin sound. It is lost. All lower frequencies practically disappear.
Iv'e tried everything.I even rearranged the EQ settings that I tweaked to be place in front of the wah when engaged-but it still makes no difference where the eq setting is placed,-the lowend frequencies still dissapear. The (bass wah setting) in the manual specifically states (designed for bass frequencies).I set the Low pass filter setting to +50 as high as it can go,and no difference in the tone -even when I drop it down to -50 with the cursor. THe BOSS GT10B does not do this. The tone does not change one bit when the wah' pedal is engaged.I just like the tone I got on the GT6B a bit more.Is this a factory issue that cannot be solved? Does anybody experience this same problem.I love to do bass wah solos' live and wish there was a way to fix this soon. any suggestions??
