I have my old good Ditto at the end of pedalboard. I'm thinking of getting a Boss RC-5 to replace it. Some questions:
1. is it comparable or better in the sound department? I recall, RC-3 was less natural sounding, but heard they improved things with RC-5. in fact, Ditto sounds very nice, but tends to cut some highs when sound is recorded.
2. how noisy is the bypass (provided I use a quiet isolated power supply)? the same RC-3 was noisy, did they improve this?
3. the RC-5 doesn't pop on loop end, right? I had a JamMan Express XT and got rid of it as if I pressed the switch to stop recording slightly before I muted all the notes, it introduced a pop and the end/beginning of the loop. Ditto works around this by introducing a very quick fade out, I believe. does Boss do the same?
