Boss stompbox power options

Hey peeps,

I have both a boss tu-3 tuner 2014 model and ds-1 distortion (circa 1980) running on batteries but am not getting enough longevity out of batteries so need power supplies.

I've been looking online at jaycar and dse etc (australian electrical stores jaycar is like radioshack) but can't work out the best to buy on a budget of around $30 to get me through the weekend at least.
I found a splitter cable to suit but not the right power supply yet.

Has any Aussie member had this same issue and if so what did you buy?

Genuine boss/Roland is too expensive without me sounding like a complete tightass, I'm not gigging constantly just in am orchestra for a thatre show for the next fortnight and am sick of changing batteries

Get a one spot. 1.7 amps of daisy chain goodness. More than adequate for small or large boards

I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about the one spot. Pretty hexy on price locally though

Maybe the EBS AD9 might be priced better where you are?

+1 on the onespot. Jaycar do have 9v power supplies but I personally would choose something that is meant to power pedals rather than a generic power supply. But the choice is yours.

Another option

Since you have a TU-3, can get the DC cord to power other pedals off it

Boss Parallel DC Cord for TU2, NS2 | Sweetwater.com

Then would just need a regular 9 volt power supply for the TU-3.

How long are batteries lasting you?

OneSpot. Godlyke and EBS have similar things as well, which might be more available where you are.

The Godlyke deluxe powerall has more current and outputs available for about the same price as a one-spot. Worth a look.
