Hi, first time poster,

Everything is wired correctly, according to this diagram

I double checked all my work, but there's still an issue I'm having with this bass:

In active mode, when the bass boost is fully engaged the master volume pot makes a nasty noise while turning volume up and down.
If I reduce the bass boost to about 1/2 way it doesn't have that problem, also no issues in passive mode.

Here's a detailed YouTube video I made of this, which shows the problem I'm having:

I was wondering anyone has any ideas or suggestions why this is happening? I've tried different cables, 9V batteries, and amps.

Wires are ok, nothing changed when I move them. One thing I noticed: When I disconnect the blue wire from the pot this issue is resolved,
however the last pot (tone control) doesn't work in that case. Still switches active on and off, and the bass/trble boosts still work in active.

Yes. Anyway good news: Problem solved after swapping out one of the pots. Same exact wiring, but now it's working well, still unclear what was going on to begin with...but now I'm not worried about it anymore. Thanks!
