Hello everyone. Bought the Coda from my friend & want to buy a mic to blend.
Aware of the DPA ($600+!), and Troll & would like to know what some of you AI users, &/or blenders use for a mic.
Thanks.
Because of the ambient nature of the amplifier, you'll have to be careful when using a mic, since controlling the amplified signal that the mic can "see" is crucial to controlling feedback. Best bet is probably blending with a pickup and using the mic for a little air in the sound. I used to use a Shure Beta 57 for this.
I have an Underwood PU & used to blend a Crown GLM 200 mic that came with the Fishman Pocket a Blender.
Stopped when I bought the Fishman Platinum Pro EQ, then learned to use my GK amp EQs.
There are 2 Ch in the AICoda- Underwood PU in Ch 1, and looking for the best option ( co$t effective, considering the Coda purchase) for Ch 2
Thanks
