Veritable plethora of amazing bass goodness at the SF GTG today. Posting here because of the very cool assortment of unusual cabs and amps. I can’t call it a shootout because there would be no survivors- all different flavors of great.

Sonic Farms Tantra and Felix by Grace Designs Dual Pre-Amp on a MAS Bodai 12
MAS Boday 28

I am terrible at making comparisons between this many flavors of bass goodness. Man oh man - it's a great time to be a bassplayer.

Hopefully others will chime in with better descriptions and more pics!
@coyoteboy @wrp @wilco68 @zorf and whomever's user ID I missed, chime in!

I've been playing through the MAS (Big E) cabs for a while so I knew that the ones I hadn't heard would sound great.
I was also really, really impressed by @DukeLeJeune 's ThunderChild cabs - wow. Great tone, lots of booty. If I couldn't play Mike's cabs I'd get Duke's in a heartbeat.
Another surprise for me was the Warwick LMA-1000 - a little class D hybrid that really seems to have flown under the radar. Great sounding amp!

Wow....incredibly cool get together...seems like such a great opportunity to learn a lot from others, with both your brain and your ears
Yep. Some great players and great playing as well as great gear. And some beautiful basses. Mike's fretless F-bass is a beautiful, sweet-sounding instrument. You can see the back of it behind the picture of wrp and his AJ. That Fodera AJ is HUGE. And has a beautiful, clear tone.

Cool! Looks like a good time (and lots of neat stuff to hear). Color me just a bit jealous.

EDIT: @coyoteboy wins the Most Svelte Rig I've Ever Seen award.
His 2 MAS 16's were amazing.
