Double Bass Bow length

Hi all, how do i go about determining the length of a bow?
Do we take the bow hair length or also the wood into account?

It appears he measures both hair-length and stick-length.

Thanks Drake, that helps but i think what i need to know is what's the norm when makers publish their stick length information.
Bow hair length or including the stick?

^ Can you give an example of the info you're looking at?

If it's the stick length, that's what it is: the length of the bow stick (not including the button). Hair length is separate.

It appears to be the stick length - it's way too long to be the hair-length.
