Double Bass bow sizes

ok so i got a new bow today... but when i got home and compared my two bows... the new one is an inch or two smaller than the older one... its supposed to be a 3/4 but im unsure... does anyone have any idea how long a 3/4's bow is supposed to be?

Bass bows vary a good bit, but I measured a 3/4 bow in my shop a few days ago and it was just short of 28 inches from the tip to the end of the shaft, not including the bow screw.

thanks for your help... do you know how much a half size would average at?

Should be about an inch to inch and a half shorter. I'll try to remember to measure one tomorrow to get an accurate reading.
