Brad bass request

Discussion in 'Tablature and Notation [BG]' started by bstewy, May 8, 2010.

  1. G'day all.

I'm stuck on a Brad song "Secret Girl"

I was wondering if someone could help in tabbing the song

    thats the link

    for the chorus i play

    G: -----------------
    D: -----------------
    A: -2---------8-----
    E: ---0-5-7-3-------

im not sure on that E note though - please feel free to correct the above if needed.

but the part i can't get it the verse bit. i know the guitar cord is a B note, but rather than just play a single note, i'd like to be able to get that bass bit for the verse

    any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

  2. ok so ive been playing around a bit trying to figure this one out

i still can't get the intro except for an single note (d'oh!) haha - the outro also plays the same as the intro

    but the chorus i play
    G ----------
    D ----------
    A -2---5----
    E ----5--3-2

    lead up to verse
    G ----------------
    D ----------------
    A -2222---2222---
    E ------5------5--

    and the interlude
    G -----------------------------------
    D -----------------------------------
    A -----------------------------------
    E --000444666444---000444666777/12

how do you think that sounds?? its missing a few fills but for the basic sound of the song... if someone can help me out on that intro that'd be great!

  3. after playing around a bit more, i tried this out for the intro

    G --------------------------
    D --------------------------
    A ----------2------------2--
    E -0-5-3-5-----0--5-3-5----

let me know what you think
