Okay, so Brad Walst is Three Days Graces bassist. He's uses both a pick and fingers, which is fine, however I've got ask this....
Is he really a good bassist at all?? Or is that it's just the music that he plays defines how he plays? Because his basslines are really boring , I swear a beginner bassist, say age 14, could easily pick up on his stuff. He barely moves out of playing just the root, every once in a while there is a passing tone or a 5th. However, after saying this, I'm satisfied with his basslines in their latest album, there's more development in his lines. Hopefully he will continue to expand.
