Brass Saddles?...yea or nay?....explain them to me

hi... I'm looking at getting a bridge with brass saddles for my p-bass kit...other than a cool visual vibe, any difference in tone?.....or probably just psychological

I've made and used both steel and brass saddles. Never heard a difference.

Not sure you’d hear any difference but I’ve always loved the performance of my brass saddles.
