Bridge repositioning advice?

I just can't believe that the bass is intonated correctly with the saddles so off from each other like that.

I don't care what the strings are or where the bridge is located - that thing can't be intonated properly.

Hi.

There's really wide variance between FB's and strings when it comes down to saddle positions.

While I agree that I do prefer them to be at string thickness apart, that's not usually enough.
