Brightest strings?

I ususally use the steel DR Hi-Beams but a few weeks ago I bought a set of D'addario Prosteels that I thought were far brighter. Sounds like something you would be into.
All are available in different gauges. You can even build custom sets of Roto's, LaBella, and DRs here:

Do they still refer to them as "Hard Rockin Steels"? Anyway, I have heard those are a well kept secret (too bad for LaBella). They are on my list when it's time to change out strings. Rotos die to fast for my budget.

I've seen the GHS Boomers start incredibly, but lose their mojo pretty quick, Rotos are totally overhyped, IMO. Ernie Balls & Dean Markleys sound OK, DR's HB's are on my Rick now, and D'Addario's work well, too.
La Bella acoustic bronze strings. Very bright and surprisingly stiff. Low output since only cores are magnetic.
DR Highbeams all the way. I've used these strings for years and am very pleased with their bright tone and how long they last. I highly recommend them.
Rotos do have a great brilliance to them. But DR Neons have a bit more treble imo with similiarly good sound. Dean Markley blue steel being a little bit brighter new then settling down to more like the neons.
