Yea, but now it's too late. Posted it here.
Where do the white and the black wire go, they are broken, have to put them back somewhere. I suppose 1 of them goes on the jack input?

That picture you send makes no sense to me

Welp are there two connections on the output jack? Looks like a shielded cable.
If there are two connections on the output (can’t tell from your pics) then the broke wires go somewhere else…Schematic was provided so you could trouble shoot and figure out where they belong with the process of elimination…

Couldn’t see those broke wires in the first pics. Trace the black/white broken wires back, where do the other ends connect? That might help us help you.

Looks to me the white goes to the middle lug in the pot at the top of the pic. I see a black ground, a red output but no input on the pot.

note that the middle volume pot has a yellow pickup lead. Plus a red output and black ground.

The bottom pot is the tone and needs only the red on a lug and black ground on the case.

put the white one on the top pot in the location the yellow goes on the middle vol pot.

edit. It could be them bottom pot, hard to tell from the pics. Whichever pot doesn’t have a capacitor is the pot you want. Look for the empty middle lug on whichever is the volume pot.

Okay so there is 5 wires:

Red wire: connected to all 3 lugs and then then the jack output

yellow wire: Only connected to the middle lug

Black wire 1: Connected to the middle and the right lug

Black wire 2: not connected to anything, comes from the little hole probably from the pickup

White wire: not connected to anything, comes from the same little hole (right and left when looking at the middle picture)

thanks! are you sure? im not sure you are saying "looks to me" because you cant see whats going on, on the pics or because you are not sure if the wires is going where you are saying they are suppose to go

Is this a used bass? Colors from pickups may be different, I would re-orient the pot inside the cavity, it looks like it was twisted up against and into the body rout wall and then the wires broke off…

It almost looks like you can see where the white broke off the middle lug, I would assume the black was on a solder blob on the pot itself, can’t tell from pics)

Because I don’t see anything on the topvolume pot except a red and black. Black is clearly ground and red is clearly the buss to the Jack. If the white is coming from the pickup, it has to go to a pot. It ain’t.
