Not a horrible deal to jump start one’s collection. Wish this was here when I started playing again and realized that Broughton while a lesser known builder, can fight with the big guys (MXR, Boss, EHX) and IMO excels at drive. Future me would tell past me to just get this instead of the merry go round of pedals I’ve gotten over the last few years.

Someone bite the bullet and buy this.

OK, I got about a dozen messages about the Subsonic. I caved. But any gain from that is gonna mean loss on the others since the crown jewel is now poached. I'm just hoping it evens out in the wash. Prices to be adjusted accordingly.

PM'd about the Solarian.

For others: do NOT sleep on the Locust Star! It's got a great range of dirty tones, but it's also my very favorite clean preamp (because it will do squeaky cleans!). It was nearly my first Broughton pedal and it's not left my pedalboard since, whether acting as a dirt box or as a preamp. I see these things getting moved all the time, and for the life of me I can't figure out why.

You are 100% right. I have to justify owning a Monique by using it though and if I have too many knobs to twiddle I never actually get to playing...so 1 preamp it is :)
