I didn't see this info ANYWHERE, so I thought I'd share it after testing out the pickups in my Brute MJXSC-4 (I replaced the preamp with a Bartolini preamp). The color coding is similar to Seymour Duncan: North: Black + White - South: Red + Green - Same wiring as SD, but in the MJXSC-4 the Green is connected to Hot, and Black is connected to Ground instead. I assume this was done so the south coil would be active when split. Thanks, Josh
Side note: the polarity reversal on the bridge pickup could have also been done to avoid phasing issues when combined with the neck pickup. But I wouldn't know, because I didn't bother plugging the bass in with the stock preamp.
