Bruce Dickinson

Ive been a huge fan of this guy for many many years,i met him at my mates stag doo many years ago at a club in Wigan (England) and he spent a good hour with us,nothing was to much trouble for him and he even bought us a few pints ( i have a photo somewhere which i will post.if i can find the pic.
He was in the club promoting his solo album ( Adrian Smith was there as well ) but Mr Smith was very quiet ( each to their own ).
Anyway i"ve just been going through my Music collection and i"ve come across the "Tyranny of Souls" album and im blown away with the songs, i"m particularly in love with "Kill Devils Hill".
I cant believe ive been into Dickinson all these years and never listened to his solo stuff,im actually embarrassed, by the way im 42 years old.

I absolutely love Bruce's solo stuff. Seems like a great guy, he's one hell of a performer. I saw him on the past 2 maiden tours, front of the pit. Looked down at me and gave me an air fist bump both times haha. I would kill to meet him.

I just saw Iron Maiden a couple of months ago, and Bruce sounded great, had tons of energy, and put on a great show. He must stay really fit. He's over 50, and I doubt many 30 year olds could run & jump all over the stage like that.

A few of my friends who are massive fans went on a mega Iron Maiden trip, flight was piloted by Bruce Dickinson and then they got full backstage access, apparently a first rate bloke.

When one of them sadly lost his life a couple years ago, there was a note written into the local paper by Bruce himself to go with the memorial. Which I thought was pretty amazing (granted the family or a friend must have written to Bruce about it, but still!).

About 2 years ago a friend of mine moved to London and went to school with Bruce's daughter. I then asked him to try and marry her so I could go to the wedding and meet Bruce, but it never came to be...

One of the best rock/metal vocalists ever. Olympic-calibre fencer. Published author. Flies jumbo jets. Owns an aircraft maintenance company and, I think, a brewery? (Or if not, he/the band owns a line of beers.) - Is there anything the guy can't do?
