BTB7 is back! İbanez BTB747

I actually have googled it and the available pictures of the Grind 6 only showed 5 pcs of wood neck... anyhow, at least the BTB747 has 2 (or 4) more...

they say the more the stronger the neck would withstand problems like twisting, etc. But honestly, never I understand the science behind this.

and there are also graphite reinforcement rods on the BTB747 which seem not avail in the Grind 6.

Can anyone find an actual review of this bass? I want one something fierce, but I usually like to read reviews..

i have the original BTB7 limited edition i really love it and i think it is better build and the CAP sonic arch pickups are far better sounding than the barts BH2 specially passively huge wide powerful great sound

But I've found a problem with these CAP Sonic Arch pickups on BTB7. The curvature isn't aligned with the BTB7 fretboard radius which is almost flat, thus quite few times the low-B string is noticed to have weaker volume although not so much with the top high-F and high-C strings.

More apparent when playing it without any compressor or softly bellow the compressor threshold set on the amp.
