Bubby Lewis La Bella colored tapewound strings

Bubby Lewis has posted a few of these La Bella strings that appear to be tapewound with unique colors but I haven't found any information if these are commercially available or not.

Here's his original post and it looks like from La Bella they also shared these strings without any detail if they are for sale. Anyone know about these and if they are something in the works? Seems like these have been mentioned a few times in the past but no replies how to buy them.

Question about these strings, aside from the cool looking tape, what strings are these equivalent to in your regular lines? I like how they sound and want to try a set.

Each one is based off one of their white nylon sets. Usually either the white nylons or the gold white nylons. They have only a couple based off the copper white nylons.

I've been hoping someone would make red tapewounds...I have absolutely no need for those DR coated strings...but so far, no luck.
That's one reason I have black tapewounds on eight basses.

LaBella will make small custom batches. If you have the cash, they will make you whatever color you want. You would have to call them for the details.

Your only options, to the best of my knowledge, are as follows:

1)- Strings by Aurora
Bass Strings – AuroraStrings
They're coated, not tapewound, and you might find them just as twangy as DR Red Devils. Then again, you might like them more.

2)- Cuerdas Eclipse

These are exactly what you want (red nylon tapewounds), but you'd have to order them from Mexico.

3)- Lemma Sound

out of Argentina used to offer multicoloured tapes. You might try and see if they still have some red tape (heh) left to make you a custom set:
