Buckeyeburl Singlecut

I started this build a while ago, but I forgot to open a thread about it...

Specs:
Model: Adamovic Jupiter
Body: 1 piece abachi
Top: 1 piece Buckeye burl
Feneers: wenge/beech/wenge (got the beech feneer for free so..)
Neck: maple/purpleheart/maple/purpleheart/maple
Fretboard: Ziricote
Pickups: 2x EMG 35tw (2x volume, 2x tone)
Bridge: Hipshot A style, black
Tuners: Hipshot Ultralites, black

Routed the pickup cavities and wetted the top:

Glued feneer to the neckblank:

Slotted the fretboard (34") and glued the bindings (I don't know what it is with that cat, but she loves wood haha):

There is just something about buckeye burl that really trips my trigger. Especially in a single cut. Probably because there seems to be more burl to look at. =p Very nice bass, looking forward to seeing more. =)
 
Glued the neck in, and sanded everything. I think I'll give it another round of sanding before finishing it, because both the abachi and the buckeye burl are so soft that they dent easily.

(stringspacing looks a bit of to me, I have to adjust the saddles for the A and D

Not sure about the finish. I like high gloss but most of the time I think that's a bit too much for buckeye burl.. so I'm considering a satin fishish at the moment
