Bugera Veyron BV1001T line voltage?

Hi,
Does anyone know if the Bugera Veyron BV1001T can run on US 120 volts and European 240 volts? I don't see a switch on the back. Maybe the power supply can handle both voltages and I need to change a fuse and a couple jumpers internally. I realize that doing so would technically void the warranty.

Either there is some kind of jumper or switch inside the amp or they built market specific versions. There’s really no clue in any documentation that I can find.

Yeah, I checked the manufacturers documentation as well. Nothing. Lot's of stuff used to have a small switch on the back near the IEC plug.

User manual shows two different versions .

The label below the power socket says, "100-120V — 50/60Hz 110W"

That means there's nothing available for a user to switch.

It's clear from both the documentation and the mains inlet labeling the supply voltage is factory set for the region of use.
Are you planning to use an amp on an inter-continental tour?

Lot's of stuff these days list: 100-240v 50/60hz
And can be plugged into either without flipping a switch.

Bugera Veyron is not externally switchable. But.... between the 120V / 240V Version only a wire jumper is installed/removed. The wire jumper was even included in my 240V-Bugera. Just moved from Europe to Mexico....Jumper installed (PCB positios are marked)

I'm pretty sure the amp has a SMPS.

I have opened my amp to take pictures…

First impression: I wasn’t able to put any of the screws back in the right way… and one of the holes just got damaged from removing it.. so I couldn’t get the screw back at all. Bad first impression…

To convert from 220v to 110v I believe I need to solder a piece of copper wire on Jumper J1 (picture 1) AND replace the fuse (picture 2).
Can anyone confirm it?

Regarding the screw, does anyone know how I can rebuild the hole?

Rule number one… if it’s not broken don’t break it.

Rule number two… if you don’t know what you are doing, don’t screw with it. A SMPS primary circuit can become explosive if you get it wrong.

So far, it looks like you are two for two here.
