building warmoth custom... exploiter or fenderbird

With the top strap peg on the neck heel and the bottom one about 2/3 the way up that huge fin? I've never had a problem on either the Explanation or the oTher-bird. In fact as I've mentioned before? I can hang the Bird vertically and play it like an upright. The Light weights can't hurt though, any weight reduction has it's impact.

The balance on mine is good, I wear it a little low anyway. I had read somewhere about neck dive vs top strap location thats why i put it as far up as possible to compensate

I LOVE the BassBars. Exceeded my expectations. I might be able to record a sample for you. For now, just a description:
Clean, tight, crisp, deep, and a hint of grand piano. VERY wide tone variations with the tone pot. In fact all the way up on the tone is a treble BOOST.

I just ordered another project from Warmoth, (a Fenderbird) so I am getting ready to order another pair of BassBars. I would'nt use anything else.
