buscanti basses and experiences

hey guys!
long story short offered a trade for a buscanti newport jazz bass. The bass looks beautiful and Jeff has been a stand up guy.

I just can't find a lot of info on them. The bass looks great and sounds great from the clips. Any of you have one? what have you thought? how have they held up over time? any other experiences?
