Buster Bass 200 question

It is a very loud and clean amp even though it's a 6 x 6L6 power section (which I am not sure how it adds up to 200w actually... should be like 150-180). If you have big cabs it has enough volume for anything.

Thanks all! I'm kinda new to tubes, and that my understanding, but it dosnt say that in the busters manual so I wanted to be sure. I like that I can use a big 8 ohm cab, and still be able to have the option to expand without loss of wattage when only running one 8 ohm cab. :)

Does the manual not have hook up instructions?

You have to make sure the any impedance switch is set correctly or that you plug into an 8 ohm specific jack.

I never quite understood Mesa's power ratings and how they derive them. I wish they'd just give an RMS wattage.

That said, the Buster is a badass amp. I had mine on the market but after plugging in the other day, I love it again. The wedge combo I pulled it out of did not do justice to this head.
