Buying a Fusion 550?

I bought my Fusion 550 a year ago and still have it. Originally I started with a 700RB, then added the BMAX-T preamp, then I picked up the Fusion 550.

Imo, it's the best looking amp out there. Some posts describe it as sounding like a tube version of the 700RB, but I wouldn't describe it that way. It just seems like a different animal to me. Very nice tonal characteristics in the upper mids. The amp has grown on me quite a bit and over time I've liked it better. I don't think I would ever replace it...unless it was with the MB Fusion.

Do a search on youtube (key in mb fusion) and you will find a comparison of the Fusion 550 to the MB Fusion. This is the best video I've seen on what the Fusion 550 sounds like.

Thanks for your thoughts

I found the same when I tried it out in the store, the more I played and tweaked it the more it grew on me. All the reviews I've read are all good so I think tonite I may be breing her home.
