As I said a few times, this was a bass I did not regret letting go. It was a good active Jazz that I liked, but did not love because it was heavy and it had a full size body that is not as comfy as 3/4 size basses like a DJ5 or most Sadowsky’s. I tried a Sadowsky MetroExpress JJ and I really liked the sound, but the only Jazz style bass I have played with a neck I disliked more was a Spector J5 I played a few years ago. The new MetroExpress JJ5 has neck as fat as a vintage P-bass. I figured this bass could do the active J-5 with a less obnoxious neck. As it stands now, I am just going to keep playing my sweet passive J4 and keep playing the fives I already have.
