Buying some gear

I have come across someone in my area selling some equipment that I have been looking into.

Studio projects VTB1 tube preamp
Studio projects B1 mic
Shure SM57
A 30 foot mic cable
and a mic stand

All necessary stuff (I already have an interface) that I was planning on buying (or atleast very similar products).

I think $240 sounds reasonable? Should I reconsider my offer?

The Studio Projects gear alone is around $240, new. If it's all in good condition, go for it.

He bought it used, he claims its in great condition but I checked the prices of that stuff on ebay (buy it now prices, usually new) and I wouldnt pay more than 280. Maybe 300 if everything is in amazing condition. He wants no less than 400 for it though.

well then, you might have to wait him out. He'll come down to reasonable soon enough.
