By-Tor's Side Switch????

COSblue-1.jpg

Perhaps The Necromancer is seen as a "God" and the "father" or "creator" of By-Tor and The Snow Dog??

The Necromancer darkens lands with the evil prism eye.

No, Rush is definitely NOT satanist. I had thought of that too (with the lyric "free to run, now, to the labyrinth below, but I'm not sure if it's "from" or "to" and either way, paniced, newly free people, would probably not care where they were running, as long as they were free.) but the "tower", "Prism eyes", "wraith" all points directly to the LOTR. Not to mention the "three travelers". Plus, Rush seemed to eat up LOTR back in the day ("Rivendell") So, I don't think that's it.

I am not sure if RUSH ever had to get "clean". I am sure they dabbled but if you saw Gene Simmon's interview in BTLS, he claims he was shocked that KISS would be partying and RUSH would be in their rooms back when they toured together in the 70s.

They probably had their fun like everyone else but I don't think there were a bunch of rehab stints.

Maybe I am naive.

No, I remember that now. I saw the Rush doc too. Plus, if those guys had been wasted very much, I think there would have been a lot more Fountains of Lamneth....

The Necromancer was trying to take over By-Tor's turf.
You should'nt do that to By-Tor.
The lyric also says By-Tor slays his foe, but later says the Necromancer goes on to darken another land with his evil prism eye.
Did By-Tor not kill him?
