Cab & amp pairing help

Hey, just bought my first cab/head and need help with the ohm setting on the head. It's a darkglass microtubes 900 v2 and a Aguilar 600 watt 2x12. The head can operate at 4 ohms or 2 ohms and the cab at 8 ohms. Which option on the amp should I use?

Sorry for the noobish question but I've been trying to figure this out for a while now and don't want to damage these nice pieces of equipment. Thanks!

I understand your confusion, the manual is not well written concerning this point. It says 450W @ 8 ohms in the specifications at the end. Elsewhere they imply 350W with an 8 ohm cabinet with the 2 ohm switch pushed in. I would contact the company to verify this just to be sure.

Either way, your amp and cabinet combination will work.
