I've just purchased the Gallien Krueger 1001 rb ii head, and now I need a cab for it.
I play mostly rock and prog, and some heavier stuff.
I've been looking at the Barefaced Super Twin, but the 4k cutoff freq concerns me, not that I necessarily need a horn, but I like options.
I've also been looking at the Mesa Subway 212, Vanderkley 212 LNT, Fearless F212 (hard to come by over here), GK Neo 212 iv.
I'm going for that Billy Gould, Duff Mckagan, Justin Chancellor, grinding power rock sound.
And I'd like one cab to do it all, not really in need of a modular setup, and weight is no issue. We play both small club gigs and big outdoor venues, mostly with PA support, but the quality of this and the soundguys are variable, so I'd like more control over my sound, and not be totally reliant on support.
