I play bass in a piano-pop rock sorta band. I've just gone straight into the PA with a direct box but I need to quit putting it off and get a nice rig. I've bought most of the equipment for the band so I just kept putting the PA and things for our rack above my rig.
I think I'm looking in the area of $1,500 - $2,000.
I've been trying to get opinions from around here but mostly all I've been told is that Ampeg got bought out and isn't what it used to be. I was hoping to get some opinions and suggestions and reviews maybe how you like your equipment?
My girlfriend's dad is a great bassist and we've talked for hours and hours ago brands and all haha. He let me borrow his Eden 4X10 and WT head and it was amazing. There is no way I could afford that rig though.
