Cab Hunting

Hello! I'm in the market for a pair or single cab.

My head is an Acoustic Image Focus 2R series 3. Its 900 watts 2 ohms.

So I guess I'm looking for a pair of 450 watt 4 ohms cabinets...? Any recommendations please?

Looking for either 212, 110, or 112 cabs. Thanks.

Just because your amp is rated at 2 ohms, it doesn't mean it HAS to be loaded to 2 ohms, or that it is even all that good an idea. I'd recommend getting 2 x 8-ohm cabs; you'll still have plenty of power. Just my 2-cents worth, of course.

For really solid bottoms with as much high snap as you (probably) want while keeping somewhat portable, Mesa, Genz, or BBC are really good options.

Check out audio kinesis they are the best cabs in the biz all else sound like a speaker in a box + they are in your price range.

Good advice. The amp will run a little cooler too.
