Cab

I use a MESA SUBWAY 4 x 10 cabinet and Bag End S15-B cabinets.
I also have a 2x10 Markbass cabinet that works well and a Hartke HL4x10 which is a sealed cabinet. I’ve been curious about the sealed cabinets and picked one up to do some shows.
Lots of good products out there..
When you say “sealed”,,do you mean no ports or holes in the rear of the cab..? And if so,,what are pros and cons ?

That’s correct. The AMPEG SVT has 4 sealed enclosures housing 2 x 10 each. The HL410 is also sealed. They are just different sounding when compared to a ported cabinet..which is not a pro or con.. just a different sounding cabinet. I’ve only played 2 shows with the Hartke and it sounded fine. I will really test it this upcoming season.
