So, I'm pretty much in love with my recently acquired Peavey Century Bass 200. The Saturation circuit really fatten things up in a way that I thought only a boutique pedal would for me. It seems to add a parallel distortion to your clean signal and mmmmm. My Ric never sounded so good. I haven't even touched the 1001RB-II in days.

So... calling all you vintage Peavey nuts for info here! What other bass capable amplifiers made by Peavey had these circuits? I want more... :hiding:

So nothing with more power on tap had the saturation knob? I cant' seem to find very much via google. If worst comes to worst, I'll just slave the GK if I need more guts I suppose. :hmm:

I gigged for years with a guitar head.. also with a combo amp...

Your time frame you're talking about is about 83-90... you'll have easier times with guitar heads (or combos)

Chances are they'll be scorpion speakers -- PM me if you find one with distortion.. it's a simple fix.
