So i currently use an Ampeg V6b (240w) and im looking at possibly picking up a Road 440 (400w) (yes i prefer obscure old amps) and i will be running an Orange 4x10 but id like to run another 4x10, possibly a Mesa. Or i might get a 15 to go along with the orange. My question is this...running the 240w Ampeg will it be able to power the Orange and another 4x10 or will it that not be enough wattage. The Road shouldnt have a problem @ 400w right? Thanks in advance

It's only a matter of whether the cabinet impedances are suitable for the amp.

Exactly. How many ohms are each cab? How many ohms do the amps like to run at? Watts are merely a secondary concern to some extent. But if impedance is off it can throw a kink in everything (which is why the 1-15 thing is such a bad idea).
