Can i get it refinished?

Ok so i just purchased a Dingwall ABZ bass. I love it except i didnt realise how fragile the Satin finish was on the bass.

I was wondering if it was possible to refinish the bass with a polyester finish or at the very least a gloss finish. I dont want to do this myself

1. How much would it cost.
2. Is this even a safe proceedure?
3. Would this ruin the color i already have on the bass?

Dingwall ABZs have a satin polyurethane finish, that is a little thinner than it's glossy counterparts, but is still a very durable and solid finish. Have you experienced problems with it, or are you just anticipating some?

To answer your original question, yes you can have it refinished as you desire. With enough time and money, you can almost have anything you can dream performed...
