Double Bass Can the EA Wizzy be combined with theEA CXL112

Grateful for any advice.
My NL210 packed up. Mystery to me as I never overdrive it. Just stopped working. Just the tweeter!
However I only used it for loud gigs and with a CXL112 when using the EB. I power this set up with an AI Focus. I was wondering if I replaced the NL210 with a Wizzy 110 (which I could also use in small gigs) would it work ok when paired with the CXL112 and powered by the Focus. :crying:

I wouldn't. The wattage the CXL112 and NL210 cabs can take far exceeds the spec for the Wizzy 10. It would go to lunch.

Seems odd that the woofers in the NL210 went out - I'd focus on that if I were you -- pop it open and check wiring and the crossover. Have a tech check it out if it's not your forte. While it is not something I've seen happen with EA gear (the wiring is well reinforced from vibration, lots of wire ties), one wire vibrating loose can easily make the woofers in any cab go silent.

Thanks BoB. While I am not a techie I opened the cab up and everything seemed intact. Very impressive build quality. I took it to my local music store and the guy checked it out and said the woofers were done. I have to take his word for it as I don't have the knowledge. I'll seek a second opinion.
Cheers for the advice.

FYI, EA is planning to release an updated NL210 in the very near future. The new design woofers should go into production in the next 2-3 months, and while I'd have to verify it, the new ones may be compatible with the original cab. Perhaps another plan to consider.
