Candy orange/tangerine

Fellas,

I have a Fender Deluxe P Special MIM that is currently painted surf green....(testors fifties aqua) to be exact.....I'm not happy with the paint color I chose so I would like to go with candy orange....

Would you choose a silver metallic or gold metallic for the undercoat? I think either or would work fine but the gold will give it more of a warmer color hue than silver..........

was going to go this route:

I could always try reranch orange as well?

I recently did a refin with Duplicolor Metal Specks "Burnt Copper" and was very happy with the results. If you're looking for an eye-catching metallic orange that will look great onstage, I recommend it. You can find it in most auto parts stores.
