can't open links?

Hi
I can't open links to youtube,other threads nor websites. I always end up on the same blank site. Am I using wrong settings maybe?

Try a different browser. Doesn't open for me in Firefox; opens in Chrome. Firefox may need an add on.

Are you using the android or iPhone app? I'm having the same issue on android app at the moment, looks like redirection error.

Here's an example that worked fine from my laptop this morning, but blank page from android app.

The above link when pasted to opera mini works fine.
Wonder if the app update broke it? (edit) tested pasting to android browser and getting blank pages too. Think our problem is with android default browser, not talkbass app

OK, cool. Opera mini works for me, and I hear good things about new Firefox on android.
Don't know offhand how to go about setting them as default for app link-click behaviour. Good starting point though.

Hi Paul, thanks for looking into this for us. At this stage it's still happening. In case it helps, my phone is SE Xperia x10 mini pro (u20a) running on 2.1 update 1 and latest updated talkbass app. I'll do some testing in other apps for similar issues, and try the old uninstall/reinstall trick, see if that fixes it.

(edit) just did some testing in other apps (where links would open outside the app) and the four I tried show no issues. I did notice none of them show the http://apicdn.viglink.com/api/click?key= at the start of the link URL when loading the page or on the link itself. Also just uninstalled app, power-cycle and reinstall, but no change yet.

(re-edit) found a workaround. If you have another browser like opera mini installed, set that as default. Links will open there ok. I suspect still that our issue is not with talkbass app, but the android default browser.
