Can't stand the Parse Errors anymore

The reason I stated this is the parse errors are driving me nuts! I've been a talkbasser for a while now. I've never had any issues with the site either on line or mobile.

The last week or so all I get is parse errors and I miss browsing/reading/participating.

Just venting

So far what no ones telling me is why this is happening? I've been using the mobile app on my iPhone for well over a year, never a problem. Now all of the sudden I can't read, reply or create threads? Just an endless stream of parse errors............

Seriously, take a look at the links people have posted above. There are forums specifically for site issues and bug reports and you are much more likely to get a response there than in off topic.

I know exactly how you feel...I was gonna post this exact thread, but I thought I would get responses like "it's free...you get what you pay for." While that's true, why put out a faulty app in the first place? And the developer knew what he/she was getting them self into when you create an app (updates, etc.) Not trying to sound ungrateful btw, the TB app has been great to me and it's quite convenient.

Anyway, I found a fix. A simple uninstall/reinstall of the app did the trick for me. Not sure if it'll work for you, but it's worth a try. (FYI I still get the parse error sometimes, but not nearly as much as before)

Oh you'd know because every time you tried to open a thread you would get an error message instead. On the rare occasion you got one to open, if you tried to reply you'd get one too!

If you haven't noticed anything you're good

Oh, and it only happens on my iPhone app.
All good now thanks to Rush!

for you maybe, but I have it at least 2 times a week just sit still and do nothing for a while. It can not be just my connection because my internet handles 2 Roku boxes, an xbox, 2 ipods and 3 computers with very fast speeds even when all are being used. Not the web browser I use because when this happens I try a few other ones and still NO GO!
