As a GR Bass AT Cube Acoustic owner for close to a year now ( I got mine used off the TB Classifieds last August) )
I can enthusiastically say that they sound as good or better than any wood cabinet I've owned or still own. While Aluminum necks aren't my thing. I can see a distinct advantage to using them in high heat and humidity. I just -played an outdoor gig last afternoon in 95 degree heat with my Lakland 55-94 and I feel a neck adjustment in my future plans.

How are you liking your GR NF Cabinet? I was considering purchasing one. My AT Cube Acoustic is ridiculously light and powerful.
The I'm assuming that your Barefaced cab is great but not light and great.

Nice keeping that Kramer in play! Back in the early '80s I had the same body design Kramer as you but only one diMarzio P pickup, a nice red color. I liked that bass a lot except for tuning issues in the winter when that V-shaped peg box went from cold in the car to warmed up on stage and pulled the tuning steadily sharp. I learned to retune on the fly during the first set.
