Double Bass Carbon Fiber Double Bass?

Particle Charton’s Shop apparently still builds a hybrid wood top carbon fiber sides and back. It’s quite expensive but
I think the concept is quite sound.

I recently saw a video of that instrument being played very beautifully. I will see if I can find it. I probably discovered it on here somewhere so my apologies if I'm sharing something that was shared originally by someone here.
