He and Paul Mccartney played a song together that he apparently recorded in the 50s. He said the Everly Brothers song Wake Up Little Suzy copied it. And it really sounded like it. But I can't find the original that he did.
Never mind, I think it's called Lend Me Your Comb. 6 minute mark.
I never knew that his career had kind of a train wreck when he had a car crash shortly before he was going to have a TV appearance for his hit song, Blue Suede Shoes. He said that he was glad that he never had a second hit on that scale, because it kept him more focused on the importance of things that truly mattered in life.
