Carlo Robelli Fretless Bass

I have the chance to get a fretless Carlo Robelli bass for $100. I wanted a fretless and i think these retail at like 240 so its a pretty good deal. Has anybody had experience or heard anything about this bass? Is it good? Bad? or at $100 is it just worth the risk

Beginner level quality from the CRs I've played. But if you're just looking to cut your teeth on a fretless it seems like a good deal, doesn't put you out too much money, plus you can probably flip it and at least break even if its not your cup of tea

I actually have another really good offer for a gibson sg bass so i might just get that instead

I just got one of these at GC in Rochester for 79 bucks. The set up is great. I am impressed with the sound. Plenty of MWAH. I even like the way it looks. It has tasteful stickers on the back. Now I have a fretless.

i have one of those bass's its a flat black and to me its pretty decent and has a lot of mwuahhh...the fretboard is nice, i think its good for recording or just toying with at that price.
