Double Bass Carruthers EUB Sub-1 Rib Rest Screw cracked off! Help!

Of all things-The Screw cracked off of the Rib Rest for my Carruthers Sub-1
Need to get an replacement set in.
Emailed Carruthers Guitars when it happened but never heard back.
Naturally,tried to match the screw at hardware store without luck, & finally used epoxy to try to keep it in place.
I can play without the rest, but the balance is off, bit wobbly. Feels like it'll break.
Anyone know the screw size or a better fix?

I made another one from an Eminence rest I modified.

Always found the Rest a bit wobbly.
How did you modify the Rest -getting it to fit tightly in the screw hole?

I made a new rest from an Eminence EUB one.
Cut it, drilled a hole and inserted a screw.
I kept the original rest, but increased the shaft lenght by 1.25 inch.
I can sell it to you for US$20 shipping included if you wish.
I'm not making money by doing that, just helping you out.
I'm in Canada, so shipping will probably be over $10.

My Carruthers EUB with the Rib Rest screw epoxied seemed OK on the gig last night-held together.
Would still like to get a more permanent fix.

The screw is 5/16 inch diameter and G5 (fine) thread.

Just played the Candlewood Inn last Tuesday-the Lake was beautiful.
Played an upright, but used the EUB last Sat.
