Carvin B2000 vs. SVT Pro 4

Ok so im looking to get a new amp head with a carvin brx 410. I like the ampeg sound, except when it distorts. I like a clean clean sound. A little boosted mids and lows, and very little highs. I also want alot of wattage and sound without distorting, which is the problem i had with the tube ampeg's.

If anyone can compare these thatd be great, i know the ampegs have a fairly good rep but that B2000 just looks beast for the price, New!

Thanks guys

If these are truly your purchase criteria, you'd be far better off getting the B2000. No question... :hmm:

I had an Ampeg SVT it weighed 120 lbs. and was the most troublesome bass head ever.My Carvin B2000 i got last week Weighs 14 lbs. and sonicly blows the ampeg easily away with a switchable tube in the preamp and 2050 watts @ 2ohms. SVT 1,200.00$ Carvin B2000 735.00$ right to your doorstep!!!!

Sounds sweet guys, thanks for the response.. I'm thinking about giving it about a month to mature the product a little more.. Then I'm ganna get the Carvin B200, BRX 410 Neo, and get a nice Carvin 4 space rack to keep it clean..

Hope it all works out!
