Carvin bridge pick up

Look closely at this bass. There's a third set of pick ups built into the bridge.
How do the bridge pick ups sound like on this bass?

Is there something different about the sound
Do you prefer to use them independent or blend them with the other pick ups?

Must be the piezo option meant to give the fretless mid-range clarity that it wouldn't normally possess. If that bass is new, very good price IMO. I would guess it would cost around 1.5k if ordered from Carvin.
