Carvin BX1500

I own one as my main head, after trying alot of the 5lb, 500 watt bass heads. I find it to be the best bang for the buck. So many options and power , I can't see why anyone could'nt get a good tone with it. I especially like the graphic eq, that I use it exclusively. And, yes, the search function is your friend.

I run mine into a BRX10.4 8 ohm and a BRX 18.1 at 8 ohm. Bi-amp mode is perfect for this set up. It's amazing how you can adjust just the right amount of lows and highs right where you want them. I have also used it in dual mono but I find it a bit too basses for me. The amp has plenty of power, really after that your into the house PA system anyway, or you should be. I have bridged the single BRX10.4 (never both only single) the power is amazing, really too much for my venues. I searched long and hard, tested many amps and cabinets until I settled on this. Money not really being the compass, this amp fit the bill and was very well priced. The cabinets in 8 ohms works for me, just keeping it simple. This amp is really just plan fun to fool with and hours upon hours of finding "your" sound. My first Carvin purchase (35 years) very happy. Best of luck...
