Interestingly, over on the Carvin forum, a Carvin customer service rep just today mentioned that they're working on a dedicated extension cabinet specifically for the MB line. No details yet.

That's been done. A perfect match for the MB15 combo.

Despite also owning a PJB Roadcase BG-800 which is killer, I also have a Carvin MB-12 which is no slouch. I like Carvin's combos. I think you might too for the reasons you related.
